The MPCQ Platinum control Series is steam outdoor reset multi-boiler heating control. It is designed to control multiple steam boilers. It either utilizes the steam cycle concept and the outdoor temperature, the control varies the duration of the steam supply to the building in a cycle based on the outdoor temperature. Or, sequence the boilers to achieve a fixed set point. Each of these options has a set of pre-configured, but adjustable settings to meet the specific needs of each building. The MPCQ Platinum will reduce fuel costs while maintaining a more comfortable space temperature.The MPCQ Platinum varies the duration of steam flow into a building by controlling up to 8 boiler stages (8 on/off or 4 lo/hi). Additional stages can be added with an Extension Panel.
The MPCQ Platinum is our newest addition to the Platinum Series. With its 80 character alphanumeric display and easy-to-use menu structure, changing settings are a snap. In addition, it incorporates Shutdown and Prove inputs for EMS capability. In addition, the MPCQ Platinum control can be purchased with the Internet Communication, BACnet Communication, or Modbus Communication option.
