Save Even More Money, with BuildingNet®
Enabled Heat-Timer® Platinum Controls
By enabling both internet and cellular connectivity with BuildingNet®, our heating controls gain powerful new features that improve boiler management efficiency while reducing maintenance and monitoring costs.
Remote Internet Monitoring. Through our online portal, you can access a customized building management website to monitor and manage all buildings and controls from one central location.
Wireless Sensors Enabled. BuildingNet® allows controls to communicate wirelessly with room and strategically placed sensors throughout your building. Easy installation and added data points help our algorithms operate more intelligently, delivering 15–25% greater energy savings compared to systems using outdoor reset alone.
How the Heat-Timer®
Platinum Controls Work
A typical Heat-Timer Platinum Control configuration is shown below. Wired sensors in the boiler room can include a stack sensor, sump pump float sensor, boiler feed meter, entry sensor, and more. Additionally, wireless temperature sensors throughout the building provide the most important data for controlling heat efficiently. With extended range and 10 year battery life, our sensors are easy to install in buildings old and new.

Internet Heating Control Saves Co-Op More Than 45% On Fuel Consumption
The case study for 15 Hill Park Ave. Co-Op in Great Neck, NY, highlights the challenges of managing heating systems in a 100-unit building. Despite installing a Heat-Timer® MPC Platinum control, complaints persisted due to manual adjustments. Richard Walden, an engineer on the board, suggested upgrading to internet-enabled controls with wireless sensors. This improved monitoring, data collection, and system balance,
Ultimately cutting heating costs by nearly 50% and saving over $25,000annually. Remote access further enhancedmanagement efficiency & resident comfort.
